This product worked out very nicely. It is good material, has a strong belt clip and fits the nano 5th generation perfectly. Just unsnap the snap at bottom to charge no need to take it out of the case. Headphones jack fits in perfectly. All other openings line up including camera and (lock and unlock button).

PURPLE TEXTURE Silicone Case Skin Protector Cover for Apple iPod Touch 2 2G 2nd Generation 8GB 16GB 32GB + LCD Screen Protector (Many Colors Available) Review

This soft, silicone case was very easy to slip on around my iPod Touch (32GB) and fits there snugly. The screen protector, which takes a very steady hand to apply, is a simple plastic sheet that adheres to the iPod screen well. Both bits of additional armor give me confidence that my iPod will be protected from minor dings and scrapes. The texture adds a little “cool” to the case without being obnoxious.

When comparing to other iPod Touch silicone cases, the only shortcoming I’ve noticed with this unit is the lack of protection around the “access points”, ie: the headphone and USB jacks. There is simply a cutout of the silicone at the bottom of this case, which makes access very easy but provides minimal protection to some of the iPod’s most sensitive parts. If I buy another unit in the future, I will seek one that provides more complete coverage of these areas.

For the price, this case is an excellent value and I’m happy I bought it. I’m more confident that my iPod will last a little longer because of it.
